Job Description: Our client is in search of a proficient Lead Manufacturing Engineer to spearhead and enhance production processes for radiation protection solutions. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with diverse teams to promote continuous improvement and maintain high standards of manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute manufacturing processes for new product launches, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Oversee and facilitate process validations, equipment qualifications, and tooling designs to align with regulatory standards and industry benchmarks.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies through process enhancements, yield improvements, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Product Engineering teams to transition new products from concept to full-scale production.
  • Provide technical support and expertise on manufacturing challenges, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation related to manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers and technicians to cultivate a culture of ongoing learning and development.
  • Work in partnership with Supply Chain Management to ensure consistent material availability and supplier quality.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering within a regulated environment, ideally in medical devices, nuclear technology, or similar fields.
  • Demonstrated success in leading manufacturing process enhancements, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, etc.) and experience with process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on mentoring and developing junior engineers.
