Job Overview

Manufacturing Process Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within the engineering division, engaging closely with production, sales, quality assurance, and procurement teams.
  • Oversee the maintenance of process documentation, including process sheets and drawings for legacy components.
  • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions for ongoing issues.
  • Interpret and apply relevant quality and manufacturing standards.
  • Create cleaning Work Orders based on Sales Orders.
  • Develop SolidWorks models and generate PDF drawings.
  • Program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) utilizing DMIS software.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through effective communication.
  • Work with the team on non-conformance reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
  • Manage engineering documentation and digital storage.
  • Revise and enhance Setup Sheet inspection reports.
  • Ensure completion of the new part Sales Order checklist.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks is essential.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred experience in CNC programming (Mastercam).
  • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing methods (CNC Lathe/Mill).
  • Experience with tolerance stack-ups, GD&T, and Statistical Measurements.
