Job Overview

Manufacturing Process Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within the engineering division, working closely with production, sales, quality assurance, and procurement teams.
  • Maintain and update process documentation, including process sheets and drawings for Legacy Parts.
  • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions for ongoing issues.
  • Interpret and apply relevant quality and manufacturing standards.
  • Create cleaning Work Orders based on Sales Orders.
  • Develop SolidWorks models and generate PDF drawings.
  • Program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) utilizing DMIS software.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through effective communication.
  • Work with the team on non-conformance reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
  • Organize and maintain engineering documentation and digital storage.
  • Enhance and refine Setup Sheet inspection reports.
  • Oversee the checklist for new part Sales Orders.

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks is essential.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred experience in CNC programming (Mastercam).
  • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing processes, including CNC Lathe and Mill operations.
  • Understanding of tolerance stack-ups, GD&T, and Statistical Measurements.
