Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RF Engineer to join our Access Network Solutions team in Wallingford, CT. As a Principal RF Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing Power Amplifiers for our CATV RF Amplifiers, including Full Duplex and Extended Spectrum DOCSIS versions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop RF and digital circuitry for Power Amplifiers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional design teams to enhance product performance and quality
  • Conduct simulation, modeling, breadboarding, and prototype evaluation of RF and digital circuitry
  • Work with network and spectrum analyzers to take measurements and make recommendations to improve product performance
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of related experience or Master's Degree with 8+ years of related experience
  • Knowledge of CATV RF Amplifiers and electrical design theory
  • Proficient with circuit analysis and modeling tools, schematic capture and PCB layout tools, and software programs such as Keysight Genesys
  • Experience with test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
  • Familiarity with DOCSIS Cable TV Standards and RF components, designs & circuits
