We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at Express Employment Professionals of Meriden, CT. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales efforts by providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Sales Support: Provide technical expertise and guidance to sales teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Documentation Management: Review and manage technical drawings, part layups, and documentation to ensure accuracy and feasibility in production.
- Customer Alignment: Analyze customer-provided drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with our manufacturing capabilities and standards.
- Project Management: Create detailed part layups based on engineering drawings and customer requirements, and review and sign off Purchase Orders (POs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) in alignment with company policies and customer requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to address technical inquiries, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
- Team Facilitation: Facilitate communication between sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications, and knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Industry Experience: Experience in a technical sales or engineering role within the aerospace or manufacturing industry, and a strong understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, and certification or training in project management methodologies preferred (e.g., PMP).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
