Job Overview

The Front Desk Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk area while delivering exceptional service to residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee the functionality of life safety systems and take necessary actions to ensure the safety of residents, guests, and staff.
  • Implement and enforce resident guest and security policies effectively.
  • Provide leadership to enhance collaboration with various departments, ensuring top-tier service and alignment with company objectives.
  • Manage staff scheduling to meet operational needs while minimizing overtime.
  • Authorize departmental schedules and oversee their implementation.
  • Foster strong relationships with residents to enhance retention and ensure high-quality customer service, addressing concerns promptly.
  • Set and uphold performance standards, ensuring staff adherence through regular follow-ups.
  • Respond to inquiries and correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Encourage staff professionalism and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of all documentation within management systems.
  • Regularly process violations and work orders as required.
  • Conduct routine property inspections to ensure compliance with safety procedures by staff, residents, and vendors.
  • Document daily activities and any irregularities, including property damage or unauthorized access.
  • Facilitate the reception and delivery of packages to residents.
Work Environment

This role primarily involves indoor work, requiring a mix of standing and sitting throughout the day.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position include:

  • Occasional sitting, standing, reaching, lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, pushing, and pulling items weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
Employment Type

This is a full-time position with hours determined by the operational needs of the property.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; AA or BA degree preferred.
  • Strong supervisory experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience or training is necessary.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English may be required at certain properties.
Supervision

The Front Desk Supervisor reports directly to the Property Manager.
