Position Overview: The Tower Team at Mercury Management LLC is responsible for the construction and maintenance of our telecommunications sites. As the Telecommunications Site Supervisor, you will lead a crew in the installation, replacement, and repair of antenna systems and equipment on communication towers. Your role will involve executing construction tasks to meet project specifications while ensuring timely completion and maintaining high-quality standards.

Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive salary with a company vehicle provided for work-related purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations at designated sites.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation.
  • Implement job instructions as directed by management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality control measures.
  • Compile and submit site-specific closeout documentation.
  • Oversee work orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist in training junior tower technicians.
  • Identify and recommend potential new site locations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in cabling procedures for tower wiring.
  • Comfortable working at heights, including ladders and towers (up to 300').
  • Proficient in using Capstan Hoists and rigging equipment.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of networking.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
  • 3-4 years of experience in tower climbing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Competent Climber/Rescue Training.
  • Basic Electrical Safety Training.
  • RF Awareness Training.
  • Experience with construction management software.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to climb and work at heights up to 500', frequently at 300' or less.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Good manual dexterity for using hand tools.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
