Position: Millwright Foreman

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Millwright Foreman to oversee operations in a dynamic project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings to guide work processes.
  • Supervise and coordinate the efforts of skilled craft personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, blueprints, and job orders relevant to the assigned area.
  • Communicate company policies to team members and enforce safety standards.
  • Organize and modify work sequences to align with project timelines, leveraging knowledge of equipment capabilities and workforce skills.
  • Evaluate project schedules and estimate labor requirements for task completion.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges effectively.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping records.
  • Adhere to strict accuracy standards in all tasks.
  • Make informed decisions based on quantifiable data.
  • Recognize and address hazardous conditions promptly.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of the work environment, tools, and personnel to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Possess relevant journeyman experience.
  • Exhibit consistent attendance.
  • Be prepared for potential travel as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
  • Complete all required safety and job training as mandated by the company.
  • Consistently observe safety and quality procedures.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

  • Ability to utilize all necessary personal protective equipment and lift weights up to fifty pounds.
  • Work conditions may include office environments, workshops, busy traffic areas, warehouses, and undeveloped sites, with frequent exposure to dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and varying weather conditions.
  • Capability to access all areas of the property, including elevated positions and confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina is required to perform essential job functions safely.
  • Must be adept at operating all relevant equipment and tools.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend frequently, and work in confined spaces or awkward positions.
