Position Title: SIC Millwright Foreman
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Millwright Foreman to oversee operations on a significant project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work processes.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of skilled craft workers.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, blueprints, and job orders relevant to the area of supervision.
- Communicate company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations effectively.
- Establish and modify work sequences to align with project schedules, utilizing knowledge of equipment capacities and personnel skills.
- Evaluate schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for job completion.
- Identify and resolve work-related issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate time records for all personnel.
- Adhere to precise standards of accuracy in all tasks.
- Make informed decisions based on measurable data.
- Recognize and respond to hazardous conditions promptly.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the work area, equipment, and tools to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Possess relevant journeyman experience.
- Exhibit regular attendance and punctuality.
- Be prepared for potential travel as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
- Complete all necessary safety and job training as mandated.
- Consistently observe safety and quality procedures.
Physical and Job Site Requirements:
- Ability to utilize all required personal protective equipment and lift items weighing up to fifty pounds.
- Work conditions may include exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and various weather conditions.
- Must be capable of accessing all areas of the job site, including elevated positions and confined spaces.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, and working in challenging positions.
- Proficient in operating all necessary equipment and tools safely.
