Position Title: SIC Millwright Foreman
Position Overview: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Millwright Foreman for an upcoming project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams to establish work procedures.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of assigned craft personnel.
- Clarify specifications, blueprints, and job orders as necessary for the area of oversight.
- Communicate company policies to team members and enforce safety protocols.
- Organize and modify work sequences to align with project timelines, utilizing knowledge of equipment capabilities and workforce skills.
- Review schedules and estimate labor requirements for task completion.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping records.
- Operate within defined standards of precision.
- Make informed decisions based on quantifiable data.
- Recognize and respond to hazardous conditions or situations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the work environment, tools, and personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Possess relevant journeyman experience.
- Exhibit regular attendance.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
- Complete all required safety and job training as mandated by the company.
- Adhere to safety and quality protocols at all times.
Physical and Job Site Requirements:
- Ability to effectively utilize all necessary personal protective equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
- Work conditions may include office settings, busy traffic areas, warehouses, and undeveloped sites, with frequent exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to safely access all areas of the property, including elevated positions and confined spaces.
- Strenuous physical activity is required to perform essential job functions safely.
- Capability to operate all necessary equipment and tools safely.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend consistently, and work in confined spaces with limited access.
