Position: SIC Rigging Foreman

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Rigging Foreman to oversee operations on a significant project. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of structural steel components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate hoisting equipment for the installation of structural steel elements.
  • Secure steel components using appropriate rigging techniques and materials.
  • Communicate effectively with equipment operators to facilitate the lifting and positioning of steel members.
  • Guide and maneuver steel components into place using tag lines.
  • Adjust and align steel members using various tools and equipment to achieve precise positioning.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and identify potential hazards on the job site.
  • Maintain regular attendance and be prepared for potential travel as required.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to support project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Completion of all required safety and job training.
  • Adherence to safety and quality standards at all times.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to utilize personal protective equipment and lift weights up to fifty pounds.
  • Work in various environments, including offices, warehouses, and outdoor sites, with exposure to diverse weather conditions.
  • Capability to access elevated areas and confined spaces safely.
  • Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks and operate equipment effectively.
