Position Overview

As an Assistant Manager of Guest Relations, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our organization by executing the following responsibilities to the highest standards:

1. Address incidents and guest inquiries promptly and professionally to ensure elevated levels of guest satisfaction.

2. Notify the management team of any potential serious issues.

3. Uphold quality assurance standards of hospitality for all members, owners, and guests, whether on property or via telephone.

4. Facilitate the check-in process for arriving guests and manage the check-out for departing guests.

5. Support the Front Office Manager/Director in overseeing resort inventory.

6. Assist in the refinement of departmental policies and procedures.

7. Execute Front Desk accounting tasks, including balancing end-of-day shift reports.

8. Maintain necessary documentation for daily operations as required.

9. Communicate effectively with all relevant internal departments, including PBX, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security, as necessary.

10. Ensure accuracy of all pending arrival information and prepare arrival packets with essential materials and information.

11. Complete the Front Desk Agent checklist.

12. Conduct property and room inspections.

13. Provide recommendations to management regarding development and corrective action plans.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the customer service industry is required.

2. At least six (6) months of supervisory experience in the customer service field is necessary.

3. Demonstrated leadership qualities such as integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

4. A courteous and professional demeanor when addressing upset guests and challenging situations.

5. High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

It would be advantageous for you to exhibit the following capabilities:

1. Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

2. Proven ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.

3. Competence in calculating figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.

4. Strong interpersonal skills, high-level communication abilities, decision-making skills, and leadership capabilities.

5. Understanding of the collaboration between Housekeeping and Front Office operations.
