Position: Vice President of Business Growth (Railroad Sector)

Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Business Growth to lead our initiatives within the railroad sector. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in sales and business development, complemented by a proven history of success in the railroad industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Formulate and implement strategic initiatives aimed at fostering business expansion within the railroad sector.

2. Discover and capitalize on new business prospects by establishing relationships with key industry stakeholders and decision-makers.

3. Build and nurture a comprehensive network of industry contacts to enhance strategic alliances and business ventures.

4. Direct the sales team in developing and executing sales strategies that exceed revenue goals.

5. Collaborate with internal departments to guarantee the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

6. Remain informed about industry trends and competitive landscapes to sustain a competitive advantage.

7. Create and deliver persuasive business proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients.

8. Track sales performance, providing comprehensive reports and insights to upper management.

9. Represent the organization at industry-related events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and enhance brand recognition.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.

- At least 7 years of experience in sales and business development, particularly within the railroad sector.

- Demonstrated history of meeting and surpassing sales objectives.

- In-depth understanding of the railroad industry and its principal players.

- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

- Proven capability to establish and maintain client and industry relationships.

- Strong leadership qualities with experience in overseeing sales teams.

- Proficiency in strategic planning and execution.

- Willingness to travel as necessary for client interactions and industry events.
