Overview

The Regional Vice President of Operations will oversee all dealer operations within the designated region. This role is crucial in aligning employee activities with TEC's Vision, Mission, and Values, striving for operational excellence.

This position collaborates closely with corporate teams to enhance customer experiences while ensuring a favorable return for TEC stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high standard of ethical conduct and sound judgment, embodying the responsibilities of a leader and role model.

Responsibilities


• Ensure all employees are familiar with and embrace TEC's Vision, Mission, and Values, holding managers accountable for team alignment.

• Foster a genuine passion among employees for all TEC brands.


• Guarantee that customers are aware of TEC's Vision, Mission, and Values, and understand their connection to employee actions and overall customer satisfaction.

• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify precise opportunities for TEC.

• Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape.


• Maintain a relentless focus on defining, measuring, and enhancing the customer experience through effective metrics and documentation.

• Ensure clarity and understanding of the profit model across all revenue streams.


• Engage in monthly reviews of operational results with General Managers and Department Managers, assigning actionable items as necessary.

• Participate actively in the annual Business Plan process, setting ambitious targets and guiding managers in achieving results.


• Manage the impact of business activities on working capital effectively.

• Uphold the TEC Value Proposition through branding and customer-facing facilities.


• Create an inspiring work environment for approximately 110 employees in the region.

• Ensure robust controls around inventory purchasing.


• Collaborate with corporate departments for non-routine transactions and business events.


• Utilize employee performance management tools to foster development and accountability.

• Identify and evaluate key workflows within revenue streams to enhance customer experience.


• Implement structured problem-solving techniques to establish best-in-class processes.


• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and promote a safe work culture.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• Over 10 years of experience in the transportation sector, with at least 7 years in a managerial role.

• Strong team player with elevated business acumen.

• Exceptional influencing and relationship-building skills.

• Proven ability to develop strategies and cascade objectives throughout the organization.

• Proficient in advanced problem-solving techniques.


• Valid driver's license.
