We are in search of a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to lead our business development efforts within the railroad sector. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in sales and business development, with a proven history of success in the railroad engineering services domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement strategic initiatives aimed at driving business expansion within the railroad sector.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business prospects by establishing relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Develop and nurture a comprehensive network of industry contacts to enhance strategic alliances and business opportunities.
  • Guide the sales team in creating and executing sales strategies that exceed revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
  • Remain informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to sustain a competitive advantage.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive business proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Track sales performance, providing insightful reports and analysis to senior leadership.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to elevate our brand presence.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and business development, particularly within the railroad engineering services field.
  • A demonstrated history of meeting and surpassing sales objectives.
  • Thorough understanding of the railroad industry and its key players.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven capability to cultivate and maintain client and industry relationships.
  • Strong leadership qualities with experience in managing sales teams.
  • Expertise in strategic planning and execution.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for client engagements and industry functions.
