Position Title: Field Sales Consultant for Construction Solutions
Location: Remote with travel required
Compensation: Starting at $50,000 annually (includes a base salary plus commission)

Work Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday
- Typical hours from 7:30 AM to 4 or 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand the customer base across a broad geographic area
- Formulate and implement strategic plans to enhance business profitability
- Achieve revenue goals and key performance indicators as outlined by the Sales Director
- Guide clients in product selection and drive sales towards preferred brands
- Maintain consistent follow-up on assigned quotations
- Achieve a quote-to-close ratio of 20% or higher
- Assess, monitor, and address sales-related challenges promptly
- Engage in construction site meetings as necessary for issue resolution
- Gather market intelligence and competitor insights, sharing findings through the company database
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and timely field reports
- Participate in industry-related events and promotional activities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Effective communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong organizational abilities
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Ability to interpret equipment operation manuals and Safety Data Sheets
- Good mathematical aptitude
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales
- Carpentry skills are advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Business is preferred but not mandatory
Licensing:
- Valid Driver's License is required
Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time is essential
