Key Responsibilities:

Client Management & Development:

  • Oversee and enhance the customer base within your designated region.
  • Formulate and execute strategic initiatives aimed at fostering profitable business expansion.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets and performance metrics as outlined by the Sales Director.
  • Assist clients in product selection and guide sales towards key brands.

Sales Activities & Follow-Up:

  • Maintain a follow-up rate on assigned quotes to achieve a closing ratio of 20% or higher.
  • Effectively address and resolve any sales-related challenges.
  • Engage in site meetings as necessary to troubleshoot issues.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

  • Collect and report on market trends and competitor activities within the company’s database.
  • Provide precise sales forecasts and projections.
  • Compile timely field reports and participate in industry-related events and promotions.

Qualifications:

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Adept at interpreting technical documents, including operation manuals and Safety Data Sheets.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Experience & Education:

  • Demonstrated experience in outside sales is essential.
  • Carpentry skills are advantageous.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business is preferred but not mandatory.

Licenses & Travel Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
