Head of Human Resources

A dynamic organization in the construction sector is in search of a seasoned Head of Human Resources to oversee HR functions and execute strategic initiatives that improve workplace culture. This pivotal role is crucial in aligning HR activities with the company's objectives, enhancing employee engagement, and facilitating organizational growth. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Oversight:
- Formulate and implement HR strategies that are in sync with the organization's goals.
- Guide, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing HR team.
- Provide strategic HR counsel to senior management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Talent Acquisition & Development:
- Oversee and enhance recruitment processes to attract high-caliber talent.
- Design and execute effective onboarding programs for seamless integration of new hires.
- Manage performance evaluation systems, including goal setting, assessments, and career development initiatives.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
- Address employee relations concerns swiftly and effectively.
- Develop and implement initiatives to acknowledge and reward employee contributions.
Compensation & Benefits Management:
- Administer competitive compensation and benefits packages that align with organizational objectives.
- Conduct regular market analysis to maintain competitiveness.
- Manage relationships with external service providers.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Develop policies that foster a safe and compliant workplace.
- Proactively identify and mitigate HR-related risks.
Learning & Development:
- Assess training needs across the organization and implement development programs.
- Evaluate and adjust training initiatives to ensure they meet both organizational and employee needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of HR experience with a strong grasp of HR practices and employment laws.
- Demonstrated experience in talent management, employee relations, and compensation.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
