About the Position:
This role is integral to our organization, overseeing the development and implementation of human resources policies across multiple sites. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with legal standards and government regulations while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage human resources policies and labor relations activities.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including interviewing and selecting candidates.
  • Advise management on employee relations and compliance with regulations.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding HR policies and programs.
  • Provide training and support to management on HR processes.
  • Identify training needs and implement relevant programs.
  • Oversee performance review processes to ensure fairness and effectiveness.
  • Manage salary adjustments and monitor compensation ratios.
  • Coordinate the Workers' Compensation program and support safety initiatives.
  • Prepare and manage the HR department budget.
  • Represent the organization in personnel-related hearings and investigations.
  • Analyze and interpret collective bargaining agreements.
  • Meet with union representatives to address grievances.
  • Prepare reports on labor relations activities and trends.
  • Ensure adherence to labor contracts and negotiate as necessary.
  • Supervise the HR department staff.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in labor relations is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of related experience is required.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
