Chief Human Resources Officer

A dynamic organization in the construction sector is in search of a skilled Chief Human Resources Officer to oversee HR functions and execute strategic initiatives that promote a positive workplace environment. The perfect candidate will possess extensive experience managing HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Formulate and implement HR strategies that are in line with the organization’s goals.
- Guide, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing HR team.
- Offer strategic HR insights to senior management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Talent Acquisition & Management:
- Oversee and enhance recruitment processes to attract top-tier talent.
- Create and execute effective onboarding programs for seamless integration of new hires.
- Manage performance evaluation systems, including goal setting, assessments, and career development initiatives.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Address employee relations concerns swiftly and effectively.
- Design and implement programs to acknowledge and reward employee contributions.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Administer competitive compensation and benefits packages that align with organizational objectives.
- Conduct regular market analysis to maintain competitive advantage.
- Manage relationships with external service providers.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Develop policies that foster a safe and compliant workplace.
- Proactively identify and mitigate HR-related risks.
Learning & Development:
- Assess training needs across the organization and implement development programs.
- Evaluate and adjust training initiatives to ensure they meet both organizational and employee needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of HR experience with a strong understanding of HR practices and employment legislation.
- Demonstrated experience in talent management, employee relations, and compensation.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
