Job Summary

Children's Therapy Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Resources Coordinator to join our team in South Pierce County, WA. As a key member of our Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program, you will play a vital role in coordinating access to early supports services for families of qualifying children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Family Support and Coordination: Serve as the primary contact person for families receiving early supports services, ensuring that all services are provided in compliance with Part C regulations.
  • Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) Development: Facilitate the development of IFSPs for each family, providing family supports and helping each child reach their full potential.
  • Service Coordination: Ensure that services are provided in natural environments within the home and community settings.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to conduct family-centered, strengths-based screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments.
  • Cultural Competence: Understand and educate parents and caregivers on the wide range of children's development across individual, cultural, and community differences.
  • Coaching and Support: Provide caregivers with culturally relevant support in the home, natural environment, and/or telehealth, utilizing a coaching model that promotes health, well-being, and development of the whole child.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with caregivers and work collaboratively with community members and multi-disciplinary ESIT team to meet family's needs.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Participate as an active member of the ESIT team during team meetings, staffing, in-services, peer coaching/consultation, and ensure compliance with Children's Therapy Center's, IDEA Part B & C's processes, policies, and timelines.
