Utilizing a strengths-based methodology, the incumbent will engage in outreach to local schools and organizations to establish partnerships, facilitate groups and workshops, and provide participants with follow-up resources and referrals. The individual will be responsible for maintaining documentation related to group sessions and tracking outcomes for quality assurance and reporting purposes. 3. Collaboration Efforts - Foster relationships with community agencies, educational institutions, early childhood education centers, and service providers to collaborate on the development and execution of workshops and courses, as well as to create referral partnerships for other Family Service Division programs. Draft memorandums of understanding with other organizations when appropriate. Work alongside community partners to identify potential co-facilitators to ensure program sustainability. Participate in both internal and external meetings to advocate for necessary resources and services, ensuring families are aware of all available resources.
  4. Program Development - Contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives by providing necessary information to relevant personnel. Promote programs across various sectors of the agency and the community, offering support to families engaged in other agency initiatives. Identify service gaps for children and families and propose strategies or plans to address these gaps using both internal and external resources.
  5. New Staff Support - Provide leadership and actively engage new staff in acquiring knowledge about the organization, the strengths-based approach, and the framework for community-based social work practices. Serve as a resource for new staff by offering guidance and support as needed.
  6. Training Initiatives - Deliver training to participants using the ACT Facilitator Manual and the Raising Safe Kids Program.
