Position Summary:

Vuori is in search of a seasoned Senior Engineering Manager to spearhead our Enterprise Solutions Engineering division, concentrating on the technical design, development, and support of our ERP systems and business applications. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O), proficiency in X++, and a solid history of managing software development initiatives. In this capacity, you will guide your team in implementing agile methodologies and design thinking to deliver and support solutions that facilitate Vuori's expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the engineering team accountable for the technical development, execution, and upkeep of the ERP system, particularly Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, nurturing a culture of ongoing improvement and innovation.
  • Supervise the design, development, and enhancement of business applications, ensuring they are scalable, dependable, and secure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend business needs and convert them into technical solutions.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of ERP projects, from gathering requirements to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory standards in all facets of ERP development.
  • Monitor system performance, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and implement upgrades to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in ERP and business application solutions, evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years focused on ERP systems, specifically Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience developing in X++ for Dynamics 365 F&O ERP.
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
  • Experience in Dynamics ERP implementation, upgrades, and migrations, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Strong understanding of business applications and their integration with ERP systems.
  • Experience and knowledge of best practices in API development.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based architectures, preferably Azure, and an understanding of security best practices for cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency in Agile delivery methods and experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in Clean Code and design patterns, with the capability to apply these principles to enhance the maintainability and scalability of ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams while maintaining a hands-on approach.
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services and database technologies such as SQL, Data Lakes, etc.
