Job Description

**About the Role**

K2 Staffing, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Prepare, schedule, and coordinate assigned engineering projects to ensure timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications to ensure project accuracy and quality.
  • Client Communication: Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
  • Project Management: Perform overall quality control of the work, including budget, schedule, plans, and personnel's performance, and report regularly on project status.
  • Team Leadership: Assign responsibilities and mentor project team members to ensure successful project execution.
  • Technical Support: Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
  • Engineering Deliverables: Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions to ensure project quality and compliance.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Proven working experience as a Project Engineer, with 3-4 years of experience in a similar role required.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project, and excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD.
  • Additional Requirements: Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards, as well as experience with BIM or Revit and LEED Accreditation a plus.
