The RCATX Program Manager is responsible for leading Rainbow Connections ATX, a vital initiative of Family Eldercare. This role is dedicated to enhancing the well-being and quality of life for older adults within the LGBTQIA2+ community. The Program Manager supervises designated staff and ensures that program performance, metrics, quality assurance measures, and work plans align with organizational and funding standards. This position represents the program in collaborations with partners and community planning groups, and may require evening and weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Oversight:

· Formulate strategies to enhance program effectiveness.

· Manage daily operations and the execution of strategic objectives.

· Monitor and report on project outputs, outcomes, and performance indicators.

· Lead, mentor, and assess the performance of staff. Conduct interviews and select new team members.

· Identify necessary staff competencies and provide training to improve performance.

· Coordinate the tracking of performance metrics and compile data for reports and evaluations for funders.

· Ensure the program operates within budgetary constraints and maintains fiscal responsibility.

· Oversee compliance with funder performance criteria.

Strategic Development:

· Guide program policies, planning, initiatives, and implementation in line with strategic priorities.

· Foster collaborative partnerships across departments to co-create effective program strategies.

· Build and sustain relationships with community partners in the LGBTQIA2+ sector.

· Collaborate with senior leadership and development teams to identify funding opportunities and revenue growth.

• Ability to utilize professional supervision effectively.

Education and Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Health Professions, Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in supportive services for marginalized populations, particularly those identifying as LGBTQIA2+.

· Demonstrated cultural competency in engaging with the LGBTQIA+ community.

· At least 3 years of experience in program development or leadership roles.

· Minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory experience.

Travel Requirements:

This role necessitates moderate travel and may require the use of personal or public transportation. Work may be conducted from various locations, including home or remote settings, and may involve attending meetings, events, and training sessions.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to work in an office environment with significant computer use.

· Capacity to travel to external locations as required for business purposes.

· Ability to establish productive relationships with clients, volunteers, staff, and community partners.

· Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 15 lbs.

· Capability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards.
