The RCATX Program Manager is responsible for leading Rainbow Connections ATX, a vital initiative of Family Eldercare that focuses on enhancing the well-being and quality of life for LGBTQIA2+ older adults. This role includes oversight of designated personnel and ensures that program performance, metrics, quality assurance standards, and operational plans align with both organizational and funding requirements. The program manager will act as the program's representative in partnerships, community planning committees, and collaborative efforts. This position may necessitate working during evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Oversight:

· Formulate strategies and opportunities to enhance program effectiveness.

· Manage daily program functions and the execution of strategic objectives.

· Monitor and report on project outputs, outcomes, and performance indicators.

· Lead, supervise, and assess the performance of staff. Conduct interviews, hiring, and selection of new team members.

· Identify necessary staff competencies and provide training opportunities to boost staff performance.

· Coordinate the tracking of performance metrics and compile data for reports, program evaluations, and narratives for funders.

· Ensure the program operates within a sound financial framework and adheres to budgetary priorities.

· Oversee program compliance concerning funders' performance criteria.

Strategic Development:

· Direct program policies, planning, initiatives, and implementation in line with the strategic priorities of the program and organization.

· Foster collaborative partnerships across agency departments to co-create program strategies and achieve optimal outcomes.

· Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners within the LGBTQIA2+ community.

· Collaborate with the Senior Director and development team to identify funding opportunities and develop new revenue streams.

Education and Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree in Health Professions, Human Services, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in supportive services for marginalized populations, including individuals identifying as LGBTQIA2+.

· Demonstrated experience and cultural competency in engaging with the LGBTQIA+ community.

· At least 3 years of experience in program development or leadership roles.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.

Travel Requirements:

This position requires moderate travel and may involve the use of a personal vehicle or public transportation. Typical workdays will be based at Family Eldercare's office, home office, or remote locations for professional meetings, events, educational programs, and training.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to work in an office environment with significant time spent on a computer.

· Ability to travel to external locations for business purposes as needed.

· Ability to build productive relationships and interact with clients, volunteers, staff, families, and community partners.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.

· Capability to perform essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity benchmarks.
