The RCATX Program Manager is responsible for leading Rainbow Connections ATX, a vital initiative of Family Eldercare dedicated to enhancing the lives of LGBTQIA2+ older adults. This role involves supervising assigned personnel and ensuring that program performance, metrics, quality assurance standards, and work plans align with both organizational and funding requirements. The program manager will act as the program's representative in collaborations with partners and community planning groups. Evening and weekend work may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight:
· Formulate strategies to enhance program effectiveness.
· Manage daily operations and the execution of strategic objectives.
· Monitor and report on project outputs, outcomes, and performance indicators.
· Lead, supervise, and assess staff performance. Conduct interviews, hiring, and selection processes.
· Identify necessary staff competencies and provide training to improve performance.
· Coordinate the tracking of performance metrics and compile data for reporting, evaluation, and funder narratives.
· Ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence to budgetary priorities.
· Oversee compliance with funder performance criteria.
Strategic Development:
· Guide program policies, planning, initiatives, and implementation in line with strategic priorities.
· Foster collaborative partnerships across departments to co-create effective program strategies.
· Build and maintain relationships with community partners within the LGBTQIA2+ community.
· Collaborate with the Senior Director and development team to identify funding opportunities and new revenue streams.

• Ability to establish positive relationships with clients, staff, and volunteers.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to utilize professional supervision constructively.
Education and Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in Health Professions, Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in supportive services for marginalized populations, particularly those identifying as LGBTQIA2+.
· Demonstrated cultural competency in engaging with the LGBTQIA+ community.
· At least 3 years of experience in program development or leadership roles.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
Travel Requirements:
This position involves moderate travel and may require the use of a personal vehicle or public transportation. Typical workdays may include attending professional meetings, events, and training sessions.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to work in an office environment with significant computer use.
· Ability to travel to various locations for business purposes as required.
· Capacity to develop productive relationships with clients, volunteers, staff, families, and community partners.
· Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 15 lbs.
· Capability to perform essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards, including meeting productivity expectations.
