The Operations Program Manager will play a pivotal role within the Mac NPI PM organization, serving as the primary operations liaison to the core product development team and various functional units across Apple.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operational ramp-up for all product components in collaboration with Materials, Quality, Engineering, and other internal and external partners.
  • Ensure that security, materials, equipment, fixtures, staffing, training, and documentation plans are effectively established with our partners.
  • Drive supply chain responsiveness to optimize cost efficiency, operational flexibility, and product quality.

As the NPI PM, you will be accountable for all aspects of the project launch, which includes:

  • Assessing, analyzing, consolidating, and clearly communicating risks and project status to management, highlighting key issues and proposing solutions during new product reviews and executive forums.
  • Facilitating connections between Operations and Engineering Teams and Factory teams throughout various development phases and ensuring smooth product transitions to Sustaining Operations Management.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Background in manufacturing, process engineering, or product development.
  • Experience collaborating with offshore manufacturers and willingness to travel to manufacturing sites.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to present effectively to management.
  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships and communicate clearly and consistently.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills and readiness to take decisive action.
  • Highly motivated with a keen attention to detail while managing multiple work streams.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 20-25%.
  • Technical expertise and prior experience in OEM management.

Education:

BS or MS degree in Engineering.
