The RCATX Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the Rainbow Connections ATX initiative, a vital program of Family Eldercare. This role is dedicated to enhancing the well-being and quality of life for older adults within the LGBTQIA2+ community. The Program Manager will supervise assigned personnel and ensure that program performance, metrics, quality assurance standards, and work plans align with organizational and funding requirements. This position will also represent the program in collaborations with partners and community planning groups. Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Oversight:

· Formulate strategies to enhance program effectiveness.

· Manage daily operations and the execution of strategic program objectives.

· Monitor and report on project outputs, outcomes, and performance indicators.

· Lead, mentor, and assess the performance of staff. Participate in the recruitment and selection of new team members.

· Identify necessary staff competencies and provide training to improve performance.

· Coordinate the tracking of performance metrics and compile data for reports, evaluations, and narratives for funders.

· Ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence to budgetary priorities.

· Maintain program compliance with funder performance criteria.

Strategic Development:

· Guide program policies, planning, initiatives, and implementation in line with the strategic goals of the organization.

· Foster collaborative partnerships across departments to co-create effective program strategies.

· Cultivate and sustain relationships with community partners in the LGBTQIA2+ sector.

· Collaborate with senior leadership and development teams to identify funding opportunities and revenue generation.

Education and Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Health Professions, Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in supportive services for marginalized populations, including those identifying as LGBTQIA2+.

· Demonstrated cultural competency in working with the LGBTQIA+ community.

· At least 3 years of experience in program development or leadership roles.

· A minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.

Travel Requirements:

This role necessitates moderate travel and may require the use of personal or public transportation. Typical work locations include Family Eldercare offices or remote settings, depending on the needs of the program.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to work in an office environment with significant computer use.

· Capability to travel to various locations for business purposes as required.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, volunteers, staff, families, and community partners.

· Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 15 lbs.

· Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards, including meeting productivity benchmarks.
