The RCATX Program Manager is responsible for leading the Rainbow Connections ATX initiative, a vital service of Family Eldercare. This role is dedicated to enhancing the well-being and quality of life for older adults within the LGBTQIA2+ community. The Program Manager will supervise assigned personnel and ensure that program performance, metrics, quality assurance measures, and work plans align with both organizational and funding requirements. This position also acts as the program's representative in collaborations with partners and community planning groups. Evening and weekend work may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Oversight:

· Formulate strategies to enhance program effectiveness.

· Manage daily operations and the execution of strategic program objectives.

· Monitor and report on project outputs, outcomes, and performance indicators.

· Lead, mentor, and assess the performance of staff. Conduct interviews, hiring, and selection processes.

· Identify necessary staff competencies and provide training to improve performance.

· Coordinate the tracking of performance metrics and compile data for reports, evaluations, and narratives for funders.

· Ensure the program operates within a sound financial framework and adheres to budgetary priorities.

· Supervise program compliance with funder performance criteria.

Strategic Development:

· Guide program policies, planning, initiatives, and implementation in line with the strategic goals of the organization.

· Foster collaborative partnerships across agency departments to co-create effective program strategies.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners in the LGBTQIA2+ sector.

· Collaborate with the Senior Director and development team to explore funding opportunities and new revenue streams.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree in Health Professions, Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in supportive services for marginalized populations, including those identifying as LGBTQIA2+.

· Demonstrated cultural competency in engaging with the LGBTQIA+ community.

· At least 3 years of experience in program development or leadership roles.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.

Travel Requirements:

This role necessitates moderate travel and may require the use of a personal vehicle or public transportation. Typical workdays will be conducted from the Family Eldercare office, a home office, or a remote location, which may include attending professional meetings, events, educational programs, and training sessions.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to work in an office environment with significant time spent on a computer.

· Ability to travel to external locations for business purposes as required.

· Capacity to develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, volunteers, staff, families, and community partners.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.

Ability to perform essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other relevant standards, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity benchmarks.
