Position Overview:
Vancouver Clinic is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Customer Service Specialist to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional service to patients as they arrive for their appointments.

Location:
87th Ave Clinic (near PeaceHealth SW Medical Center)

Schedule:
Full-time (40 hrs/week)
Monday–Friday, 11:15am-8:15pm

Compensation:
The hourly wage starts at $17.60, varying based on qualifications and experience. Full-time employees receive 100% coverage for base Medical, Dental, and Rx Insurance premiums.

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist patients and their families
- Collect co-payments and manage insurance documentation
- Answer phone inquiries and schedule appointments
- Facilitate referrals and perform additional tasks as needed

We are looking for individuals who can multitask effectively, collaborate well within a team, and maintain a positive demeanor in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical front office setting preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required
- Familiarity with Epic software is a plus
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Proficient keyboarding abilities

Benefits:
Vancouver Clinic offers a comprehensive Total Rewards Program, with eligibility for benefits starting on the first of the month following one month of employment. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, and more. We also provide a 401k retirement plan with employer contributions after the first year.

Eligible employees accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) and Personal Time based on hours worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full-time staff. Additionally, employees enjoy up to six paid holidays per year, depending on their schedule.
