Automotive Customer Service Specialist

At Dick Hannah Subaru, our Automotive Customer Service Specialists play a pivotal role in enhancing the service department's operations by effectively recommending and selling vital services to our valued customers. Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive Earnings: Enjoy a commission structure that offers 7% of total individual gross parts and labor profit after discount, with the potential to earn up to $1,500 in monthly focus commission.
Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): We emphasize work-life balance by providing industry-leading PTO. New full-time employees accumulate 4 hours per pay period, totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time.
Comprehensive Benefits Package: Dick Hannah Subaru offers extensive health benefits starting the first month after 60 days of employment. Options include medical, dental, vision, Health Savings and Flexible Spending accounts, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability, along with a robust 401(k) plan for retirement planning.
Paid Holidays: We provide 5 paid holidays per year to Automotive Customer Service Specialists, subject to the completion of the introductory period and other eligibility requirements as per company policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers in a prompt and friendly manner while gathering vehicle information.
- Review service history, inspect vehicles, and suggest additional necessary services.
- Prepare a detailed and accurate written estimate for labor and parts, ensuring to check on repair progress throughout the day.
- Communicate with customers regarding any changes in estimates or promised timelines, explaining costs and time requirements in detail, and obtaining proper authorization for any additional repairs.
- Review repair orders to confirm that work is completed and that any additional work and authorizations are documented. Close repair orders as necessary.
- Clarify completed work and all charges to customers, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Exceptional communication and time management skills.
- Capability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Physical ability to utilize computer hardware/software.
- A team player with a positive attitude, capable of collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
- Must maintain a clean driving record and be insurable under company insurance policies.
