Work Schedule:
- Full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week with set shifts.
- On-call shifts may be required in addition to regular hours.
Essential Duties:
- Welcome and assist patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Provide necessary forms during check-in and complete patient registration in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Verify insurance coverage electronically and collect payments due at the time of service.
- Facilitate patient check-out by organizing and managing medical records.
- Handle incoming calls and address patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.
- Manage incoming emails and faxes, ensuring timely responses to requests.
- Oversee cash drawer setup and close-out procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including disinfecting common areas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager.
