Job Overview

The Engineering Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing engineering tasks alongside the project team to fulfill project objectives. This role involves facilitating the resolution of engineering design and testing challenges. Note that this position does not include direct supervision of staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stay at the forefront of technology by optimizing and troubleshooting custom factory automation solutions across North America (travel required: 10-15%).
  • Utilize instincts for fine-tuning complex mechanical systems.
  • Engage with mechanical systems, sensors, robotics, motion control, pneumatics, hydraulics, and vision systems.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills to grasp customer requirements and coordinate effective solutions within the talented Koops team.
  • Embrace a collaborative mindset and a commitment to teamwork through employee ownership (ESOP).
  • Maintain a professional demeanor with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Uphold a high standard of integrity.
  • Employ creative problem-solving abilities to deliver robust solutions to clients.
  • Possess over 10 years of experience in manufacturing and project initiation.

Qualifications

  • A four-year degree in engineering or relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with automated systems.
