Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our expanding team. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day supervision of field-related construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate subcontractors on general construction projects
• Prepare and review technical engineering specifications and statements of work
• Monitor construction projects to successful and timely completion
• Administer client and subcontractor contracts
• Expedite material deliveries and labor to the project
• Maintain project budget and cost control
• Prepare monthly cost reports and coordinate projections with the Project Manager
• Submit weekly labor reports
• Keep management advised of all potential issues or problems

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
• Extensive technical and practical knowledge of construction practices and methods
• Ability to prepare or review technical engineering specifications and statements of work
• Knowledge of construction management software and estimating processes
• OSHA 30 and QA/QC Training are a major plus
• Military Veterans are a major plus

Physical Requirements

• Close vision and distance vision
• Ability to walk for long periods of time
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to occasionally pull, push, carry, or lift tools, equipment, or materials 50 lbs. or less
• Ability to withstand occasional bending, squatting, or crouching
• Ability to frequently handle tools, equipment, or material
• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
