Job Overview

Elite Material Handling LLC, a prominent provider of service and equipment solutions, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Sales Specialist. This role is pivotal in promoting our extensive range of services and maintenance agreements to both new and existing clients, specifically within the realm of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Drive the complete sales cycle, focusing on identifying potential clients, offering tailored solutions, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
  • Act as a knowledgeable consultant, assisting partners with their unique business challenges and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to devise effective strategies for expanding the customer base.
  • Engage with the sales team to exchange insights and develop innovative business strategies.
  • Utilize Sales Force to maintain visibility and effectively communicate activities within the assigned territory.
  • Explore social selling opportunities to enhance outreach.
  • Participate in training programs and accompany experienced colleagues to gain practical skills.
  • Prepare specifications and service expectations in compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
  • Calculate job costs and market-based pricing for solutions.
  • Focus on key sales areas, including Preventative Maintenance, Field & Shop Service, Rental Equipment, Forklift Safety Training, and both new and used Material Handling Equipment Sales.
  • Generate order activity to support sales forecasts through proactive prospecting and market development.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of cold calling sales experience.
  • At least 3 years of customer service experience.
  • A background in Industrial Equipment or Construction Sales for 2+ years.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

  • Remain stationary for extended periods while driving.
  • Navigate customer job sites, which may involve climbing ladders and accessing equipment.
  • Perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, and bending to assess equipment needs.
  • Operate various tools and equipment, including cell phones and measuring devices.
  • Communicate effectively through various channels.
  • Work in diverse weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
