Event Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Event Coordinator will assist event managers in executing event production and logistics from start to finish, ensuring a seamless experience for clients, guests, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with event managers to understand client expectations and execute event needs
  • Facilitate communication and organization between departments
  • Maintain a detailed filing system of event documents
  • Assist with credentialing and guest access
  • Collaborate with union crew members and contractors to ensure satisfactory work and compliance with company standards
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in concerts, community events, and/or production events
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with event setup, audio, video, lighting, and rigging
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and other business systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and produce accurate results
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move and walk extensively around the facility
  • Ability to stand for long hours during events
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50-80 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities
Computer Skills:
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
