The Youth and Family Support Coordinator position involves delivering community-oriented therapeutic interventions to children and their families. Under the guidance of the Clinical Manager and with the assistance of a qualified clinician, this role is designed to help families and youth meet the objectives outlined in their treatment plans.

Compensation: $45,000

Sign-On Bonus: $3,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in Care Planning Teams for designated youth and families.
  • Educate youth on recognizing, managing, and expressing their emotions effectively.
  • Enhance family dynamics by improving communication, problem-solving, and safety planning skills.
  • Support Master's level clinicians in executing the therapeutic goals of the treatment plan.
  • Track the progress of youth and families in collaboration with clinicians.
  • Provide skills training and demonstrate practical applications to youth and families.
  • Identify and leverage community resources to support youth and families.
  • Keep clinicians and supervisors updated on case progress.
  • Follow clinician and supervisor recommendations diligently.
  • Complete documentation in accordance with clinic schedules and maintain compliance with visit records.
  • Utilize Electronic Health Records for billing and documentation in line with company protocols.
  • Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and administrative procedures.
  • Comply with mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality in all clinical matters, following HIPAA regulations.
  • Responsible for transporting clients as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with two years of experience working with youth and families, or
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited institution, with at least one year of experience working with children, adolescents, or transition-age youth.
  • Availability to work afternoons and early evenings is essential.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are mandatory.
