Mount Prospect Academy (MPA) has adapted to provide a wide range of mental and behavioral health services to a diverse group of adolescents facing challenges. Our specialized services encompass home and community-based treatment, residential programs, group homes, and educational support. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver services to students in alignment with program objectives and individual treatment plans.
  • Foster connections with students to enhance understanding and compassion, driving treatment progress.
  • Implement engaging and relevant programming that promotes a positive culture and facilitates treatment advancement.
  • Assist with the evening routine and prepare students for the day ahead.
  • Conduct regular bed-checks with empathy and in accordance with established policies.
  • Provide crisis support to students exhibiting unsafe behaviors.
  • Encourage student achievements and foster positive behavior.
  • Maintain 100% supervision of students at all times.
  • Celebrate student successes and promote resilience through challenges.
  • Engage with students as a compassionate and understanding professional.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Document service delivery and behavior-related incidents accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or 60 college credits.
  • OR 2 years of full-time experience working with children.
  • OR a combination of relevant credits and experience totaling 2 years.
  • OR 7 years of parenting experience.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license preferred; must be 21 years or older.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of background checks and pre-employment screenings.
