Mount Prospect Academy (MPA) has evolved to provide a range of mental and behavioral health support services to a diverse group of adolescents who are often challenging to serve. Our specialized services include home and community-based treatment, residential treatment programs, group homes, and educational institutions tailored for special needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver services to students in alignment with program objectives and individual treatment plans.

- Assist in completing bedtime routines and prepare students for the day during morning wake-up routines.
- Conduct regular bed-checks with empathy and in accordance with established policies.

- Encourage student success and actively engage with them.
- Maintain 100% supervision of students at all times.
- Celebrate student achievements and reinforce positive behaviors.
- Obtain TCI certification and apply TCI principles in practice.
- Utilize knowledge of ARC to support student success.
- Manage student crises with compassion, aiming for positive outcomes.
- Facilitate the residential routine with intentionality and thoughtful planning.
- Attend work punctually and manage time effectively.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and collaborate with colleagues.
- Plan and execute meaningful programming that resonates with students.
- Understand and apply knowledge of risk and protective factors in the context of mental health.

Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or 60 college credits.
- OR 2 years of full-time experience working with children.
- OR a combination of education and experience totaling 2 years.
- OR 7 years of parenting experience.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license preferred; must be 21 years or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of background checks.
