Position Overview

Staffing Coordinator - Anticoagulation and Pharmacotherapy Clinic

Schedule Details: Supplemental or On Call, Day Shift

The Staffing Coordinator is accountable for a range of responsibilities including welcoming patients, managing registration processes, handling pre-registration, and ensuring insurance authorization and benefit verification. This role involves explaining various institutional forms and policies, collecting payments at the time of service, scheduling appointments, and responding to telephone inquiries. Additionally, the coordinator supports pharmacists by gathering clinical data, liaising with healthcare providers and other medical professionals, preparing patient charts, transferring medical records, and reviewing documentation.

Key responsibilities also encompass checking patients in for their appointments, recording vital signs, conducting medication reconciliation, coordinating care, and providing patient education.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range provided reflects the base pay; additional earnings may be available for this position, including shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
