Pioneer Human Services is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Resident Monitor I to join our team. As a key member of our residential reentry program, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their transition back into community life.
Key Responsibilities- Program Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of residents, staff, and visitors by monitoring resident movement and implementing program policies and procedures.
- Resident Support: Provide guidance, assistance, and support to residents in their daily lives, helping them to develop independent living skills and achieve their goals.
- Program Operations: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the residential reentry program, including verifying resident employment and supporting structured cognitive and behavioral-based programming.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other staff members and community partners to promote a pro-social and supportive program climate, encouraging residents to develop positive relationships and behaviors.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: 6 months of experience working in human services, criminal justice, or correctional systems, including internships and volunteer placements.
- Certifications: Must obtain CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler certifications within two weeks of hire and maintain throughout employment.
- Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, and Internet browser navigation.
