Role Summary

The Senior Executive Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) by managing a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This position demands exceptional communication skills and the ability to navigate interactions at various governmental levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of administrative duties that enhance the CEO's effectiveness in leading the organization, including oversight of strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Coordinate and manage the CEO's internal and external meeting schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of agendas, presentations, and meeting materials, ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
  • Provide project management assistance to the Board, including organizing Board meetings, managing schedules, and documenting minutes.
  • Facilitate logistics for Executive Team meetings, Administrative meetings, and agency-wide events.
  • Support the CEO in developing content for various communication channels, including the organization’s website, newsletters, and social media platforms.
  • Contribute to grant writing efforts by conducting research and analyzing relevant data.
  • Maintain the CEO's calendar with meticulous attention to detail and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in executive-level administrative support.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector is essential; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of tasks and projects independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Typing speed of at least 55 words per minute with accuracy.

  • Professional demeanor when interacting with diverse groups, including Board members and community leaders.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting hourly rate: $26.78.
