The Strategic Account Executive collaborates with our clients to secure their entire digital landscape. You are driven by the desire to address critical challenges in our clients' secure environments, ready to connect them with solutions tailored for every phase of threat prevention. This position is a key contributor to the company’s revenue and growth. As a seasoned and dynamic sales professional, you will lead and drive sales initiatives.

Your Contributions

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will navigate and manage extensive, intricate sales cycles while collaborating with our internal partners and teams to optimally serve the client. Your consultative sales expertise will identify business challenges and develop solutions for prospects and existing clients. Understand the competitive landscape and client requirements to effectively position the range of Palo Alto Networks solutions. Establish clear objectives and maintain accurate forecasting through the development of a comprehensive territory plan. Utilize client success stories to craft a compelling value proposition with insights tailored to each specific account. Stay informed on industry developments and trends, and their implications for Palo Alto Networks products and services. Travel as necessary within your designated territory and to company-wide meetings.

Required Qualifications

Your Background

Proven experience and understanding of SaaS-based architectures, preferably within the networking and/or security sectors - SASE technology is advantageous. Demonstrated success in selling complex solutions, value-based selling, and/or consultative sales methodologies. Technical proficiency in understanding how technology products and solutions address business challenges. Ability to identify issues, analyze data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions. Build and maintain relationships with our channel partners to implement a channel-centric go-to-market strategy for our clients. In-depth knowledge of the complete sales cycle and the ability to adhere to a structured sales process. Capacity to adopt a holistic approach to problem-solving by comprehending the broader context and considering complex interrelationships and outcomes. Excellent time management abilities, with a high degree of autonomy and self-direction.
