We are currently in search of a Receptionist/Admin Coordinator who will play a vital role in our Glen Burnie, Maryland office. This individual will be tasked with welcoming customers, clients, vendors, employment applicants, and other visitors, while managing incoming phone calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and register incoming visitors, issuing visitor badges.
  • Conduct Visual Compliance Screening and escort visitors as required.
  • Monitor office supply inventory and reorder supplies as necessary.
  • Prepare mailing labels for packages and manage incoming mail/packages.
  • Perform light clerical duties, including word processing, filing, and record keeping.
  • Assist in processing vendor invoices.
  • Support the receiving and documentation of incoming goods.
  • Additional tasks may include organizing and filing documents.
  • Prepare documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information in accordance with government standards.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for interaction with peers and supervisors.
  • Professional demeanor when engaging with the public.
  • Adherence to workplace policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in phone systems and call routing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of office experience.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

  • Office setting.
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
  • Capacity to perform repetitive tasks (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).
  • Able to lift up to 10 pounds.
