Our Glen Burnie, Maryland office is actively seeking a Receptionist/Admin Coordinator. This role involves welcoming customers, clients, vendors, job applicants, and other visitors, while managing incoming phone calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome visitors, register them, and issue visitor badges.
  • Conduct Visual Compliance Screening and escort visitors as needed.
  • Monitor office supply inventory and reorder supplies as necessary.
  • Prepare mailing labels for packages and manage incoming mail/packages.
  • Perform light clerical duties, including word processing, filing, and record maintenance.
  • Assist in processing vendor invoices.
  • Support the receiving and documentation of goods.
  • Additional responsibilities include organizing and filing documents.
  • Prepare documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information in accordance with government standards.
  • Effective interaction with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Appropriate interaction with the public when necessary.
  • Adherence to workplace regulations.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in phone systems and call routing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of office experience.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

  • Office setting.
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks (keyboarding, 10-key, phone usage).
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
