Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer who will serve as the technical expert in crafting machine learning solutions that leverage our capabilities to generate significant outcomes for our clients. This role acts as a vital bridge between customers and engineering teams, translating needs and aspirations into technical solutions, influencing product roadmaps, and fostering innovation. Success in this position requires a solid background in machine learning, AI, and software development, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and customer engagement skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguous situations to articulate requirements and use cases effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging virtual and in-person presentations and demonstrations of our software products to prospective clients and partners.
- Collaborate with the sales team to address RFPs and provide technical expertise for competitive proposals.
- Act as a dedicated partner to implement successful account strategies and support key projects.
- Participate in planning, preparation, and execution of client sales calls and meetings.
- Lead the technical solution strategy throughout the capture and proposal phases.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement product growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on Machine Learning/AI/Deep Learning solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience in AI/ML software development and solutions.
- Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics).
- Strong technical foundation with a consultative approach.
- In-depth understanding and experience with Federal Government clients and technology applications.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Eligibility to obtain a US security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to formulate experimental and analytical plans for modeling processes, utilizing robust baselines, and accurately determining cause-and-effect relationships.
- Experience in technical sales or consulting with a proven track record of assisting clients with their AI requirements.
- Broad knowledge of popular machine learning technologies (e.g., NLP, supervised vs. unsupervised learning).
- Proficiency in writing production-level code that is clear and comprehensible.
- Experience managing large datasets.
- A blend of technical expertise and business acumen to effectively engage with all levels within client organizations.
- Strong preference for teamwork, ability to manage ambiguity, solid prioritization skills, and a results-oriented mindset in a dynamic environment.
