KOMPAN Inc Americas is seeking a Technical and Spare Parts Specialist to engage with clients and sales teams in managing warranty and maintenance-related parts inquiries for KOMPAN's playground and outdoor fitness solutions.

This position involves the identification, procurement, and monitoring of parts orders while ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders involved.

In partnership with our headquarters in Denmark, KOMPAN manufactures and installs over 1,000 sites monthly across 90 countries. Our North American base in Austin, Texas, supports sales operations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to clients and colleagues by responding to incoming communications to manage quotes, claims, and orders for spare parts and warranties.
  • Receive, prioritize, track, and resolve requests from clients, sales representatives, and installation teams regarding parts.
  • Examine technical documentation and investigate historical installation data to ascertain warranty eligibility for parts.
  • Employ outstanding customer service skills to address all inquiries and maintain ongoing communication promptly.
  • Generate quotes and create purchase orders for parts using Navision and CRM software, keeping the requesting party informed with order confirmations and tracking details.
  • Collaborate with internal departments for warranty approvals and missing parts requests on active projects, while staying informed about warehouse inventory.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of customer-facing experience.
  • Preferred 1+ years of experience in technical processing or inventory management within the building materials or construction sector.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Navision, and/or CRM systems is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
