With over five decades of experience, KOMPAN has been at the forefront of designing and manufacturing creative and engaging commercial playground equipment and outdoor fitness installations that appeal to diverse age groups and abilities.

In partnership with our headquarters in Denmark, KOMPAN delivers more than 1,000 installations monthly across 90 countries. Our North American operations, based in Austin, Texas, support field sales throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to customers and colleagues by responding to inquiries via phone and email to process quotes, claims, and orders for spare parts and warranties.
  • Receive, prioritize, track, and resolve requests from customers, sales representatives, and installation teams regarding parts.
  • Examine technical documentation and investigate historical installation data to assess warranty eligibility for parts.
  • Employ exceptional customer service skills to address all inquiries and maintain timely communication.
  • Generate quotes and create purchase orders for parts using Navision and CRM software, updating the requesting parties with order confirmations and tracking details.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to secure warranty approvals and address missing parts requests for ongoing installations while staying informed about warehouse inventory.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Preferred 1+ years of experience in technical processing or inventory management within the building materials or construction sectors.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Navision, and/or CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
