Position Overview:
TTI, Inc. is seeking a Territory Sales Specialist to enhance our sales efforts in the field. This role is essential for promoting our product offerings and services to designated clients within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will focus on three main objectives: generating new sales, maintaining existing sales, and expanding market penetration. This includes identifying new business opportunities, nurturing current client relationships, and diligently following up on potential leads. The Territory Sales Specialist will also stay informed about industry trends to pinpoint emerging markets and strategize for revenue growth.
Accountabilities:
1. Develop new business opportunities by actively pursuing leads, engaging with customers, participating in trade shows, and fostering relationships with industry representatives.
3. Collaborate with local and regional suppliers to establish partnerships that position TTI as the preferred distributor.
4. Attend supplier training sessions to enhance product knowledge and relay this information to customers.5. Provide client product training and support.
6. Manage the sales cycle for key customers by maintaining communication with clients, internal sales teams, manufacturers, and quotes.
7. Ensure timely and complete service delivery that meets customer expectations.8. Address and resolve technical inquiries, issues, and complaints from key customers promptly to ensure high service levels.
9. Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities for the company.10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required; a business-related degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates should have one to two years of proven success in a Field Sales Representative role.
Skills & Certifications:
Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and capable of working independently in the field. Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential. Knowledge and experience in technical sales are advantageous. Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel, is required. A valid state driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary, along with the ability to travel within the assigned territory up to 50% of the time.
